This project is an attempt to create rules for magic and a fantasy system based on rules inspired by the Action! System(TM). Goldrush Games will be back, I’m sure. Until that time, I am working on a largely compatible system that adds some things and streamlines others. This effort is analogous to the development of the Pathfinder RPG by Paizo. The main difference, of course, is that the magic system is based on my own ideas.
A child of this project is the MUSE system. In about 10 pages, this self-contained mini-version of the Mnemosyne System is fun for a quick night of gaming or as an introduction to RPGs.
The Menosyne System is released under the OGL license v1.0a. I look forward to any and all homebrew ideas others may have. I will even host them, if you would like.
