D6 System Love

I know, I know. I skipped C. I did A four times, so there you are. At some point, I'll have to add a schwa.

But I digress.

Sometime ago, I took all the text from D6 Fantasy and D6 Magic and put it into rtf files like the original srd page at Wizards of the Coast. As a result, more than a few folks visit the site to find and download the D6 Fantasy files. At one point, I wanted to use D6 as a toolkit to create all kinds of settings. Alas, I was not successful. I later went to work for Nevermet Press and gave up on D6 altogether.

I've updated my Downloads page to point to the Six-Sided Fantasy SRD. The title was invented because at the time of its publication, there was no OpenD6 trademark license. All product names were removed from the rtfs I generated, too. So if you use my rtfs, there are a few textual variances from the original. The original PDFs, now available for free, contain references to D6 products by name.

Anything I could have done has been improved upon by Mini-Six by Anti-Paladin Games. These guys are great at Old School TSR and Old School WEG. Get the Mini-Six rules and have a great time.

Back Up

A few years ago, I found the Action! System and fell in love with it. I had hoped to develop it into something, but I got bogged down in the campaign world I was creating for it.

Mnemosyne was the name of the system. MUSE was going to be the quick rules.

The pmwiki site has been spammed hundreds of times over, but I spent some time restoring the site.

So, Mnemosyne (lost) is back up. MUSE might be up soon.

Meanwhile, I plan on updating the rest of the site as well.

A is Also for Apologies

I looked that the Arcanist pdf and I need to apologize. There's throwing stuff together for a concept, but this was pretty bad. Yes, I said it was an alpha, but that doesn't make me happy.

I'm re-working the PDF. I forgot to include the Casting Time for all the spells. I also didn't provide descriptions for several spells that were "identical to the level X Cleric spell of the same name." The word ritual appears in odd places.

So, I'm working on the revision. It will hopefully become something a bit more useful.

On a different topic, I will not reach Z before the end of April, or even May. I have to finish Shayakand work which has stalled for the past three months due to real life. I hope to spot more frequently, but I can't do everyday anymore. I promise that the post titles will not be something like T is for Time. I'll have normal blog post titles.
